Welcome to the Netsmart University Continuing Education program. It is our goal to provide you with a wide range of continuing education opportunities. To that end, we offer our own CE content as well as CE content developed by established providers of continuing education programs.

Netsmart University ’s own educational program is administered by Liz Vasti, Vice President, Netsmart University. Our program is designed to meet the needs of today’s Health and Human Services professional. Today's behavioral health professional plays many roles - whether in a single provider practice or a multi-faceted organization. Today's professional is a supervisor, an administrator, a computer programmer and a leader as well as a clinician. Thus, today's professional must know about managed care, technology integration, governance, accreditation and outcome evaluation as well as how to treat the clients who come to them for care. Our overall goal is to inform our customers of "best practices" and some of the newest research in the many areas of the behavioral health field, so that they may continuously improve the quality of outcomes for behavioral health customers and the community.

The target audience for Netsmart University ’s CE programs, both its own and those of its other CE content providers, includes psychologists, social workers, mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, nurses, addictions professionals, mental health administrators, quality improvement specialists and other individuals working in the behavioral health field as clinicians, administrators and leaders in or out of managed care environments who must integrate technology into their work.
